What Happens at Your Appointment
We start with a one hour consultation to talk through your goals and map the style and depth that suits you. On treatment day I apply professional topical numbing so you're comfortable, and sessions typically run one to two hours depending on the style. Healing follows the same gentle process as my other treatments, with your true colour settling in by around weeks four to six.

How long does permanent eyeliner last?
Generally anywhere from six months to two years, similar to my other treatments, depending on your skin and lifestyle. I offer colour refresh options along the way so your liner stays crisp rather than fading out unevenly.
How bad does permanent eyeliner hurt?
Most clients find the eyeliner area a touch more sensitive than the brows, but it's still generally described as mild discomfort rather than pain. I apply professional topical numbing before every appointment to keep you as comfortable as possible.
What are the side effects of permanent eyeliner?
It's normal to have some redness, mild swelling or watery eyes straight after your appointment, and some flaking as it heals over the following couple of weeks. Genuine complications are rare, but I go through your medical history at consultation so we can flag anything relevant to you before we start.
How long does it take permanent eyeliner to heal?
Healing takes a few weeks in total. You'll notice some flaking between days three and fourteen, which is completely normal, and your true colour settles in by around weeks four to six, right when your complimentary follow up is scheduled.
How much does permanent eyeliner cost?

What are the cons of permanent eyeliner?
Despite the name, it's not truly forever, it fades over time and needs a colour refresh to stay looking its best. How do I lighten permanent eyeliner?
Lightening or removing existing permanent makeup usually needs a specialised saline removal or laser treatment, which isn't something I offer directly. If this is something you're dealing with, it's worth coming in for a chat so I can have a proper look and talk you through what's realistic for your situation.
Why did my permanent eyeliner disappear?
Pigment naturally fades over time, and how quickly depends on your skin type, sun exposure and how the area was cared for during healing. Picking at flaking skin too early, or using strong exfoliants and retinoids near the eyes, can also speed up fading. If yours has faded more than expected, it's worth coming in so I can take a look and talk through a colour refresh.
When can I wash my eyes after permanent eyeliner?
As a general rule, it's best to keep the area dry for the first day or two, then start gently cleansing as your skin allows. I'll give you the full aftercare routine at your appointment so you know exactly what's right for your healing.
