Mature and Age-Appropriate Brows
This is the work I'm proudest of. Softening and shaping brows on mature skin truly isn't the same job as working on younger skin, it takes a different eye and a different hand, not just a smaller needle, because skin, muscle and colour all behave differently as we age. Every eyebrow tattoo journey starts with a one hour consultation, where I map your ideal shape and colour and show you the design before any work begins. On the day I apply professional topical numbing, and your session typically runs two to three hours. Healing takes a few weeks, with some flaking between days three and fourteen being completely normal, and your true colour settling in by around weeks four to six, right when your complimentary follow up is scheduled.

Typically anywhere from six months to two years, depending on your skin and lifestyle. I offer colour refresh options along the way to keep your brows looking soft and fresh rather than fading unevenly.
When can I wash my face after eyebrow tattoo?
You can wash the rest of your face as normal, just keep water and products off the brow area directly for the first day or two. I'll give you the full aftercare routine at your appointment.
How long after eyebrow tattoo can I tint them?
I usually recommend waiting until you're fully healed, around four to six weeks, before tinting or waxing your brows, so the healing pigment isn't disturbed. We can chat about the right timing at your follow up.
How long after eyebrow tattoo can I get them wet?
It's best to keep your brows dry for the first day or two, then be gentle around them for the following week or so. I'd hold off on swimming, saunas and steamy showers until you're past the initial healing stage.
What should I expect after eyebrow tattoo?
Straight after your appointment the colour looks darker and crisper than the healed result, which is completely normal. Over the following days you'll notice some flaking as the pigment settles, and by around weeks four to six your true, softer colour emerges, right when your complimentary follow up is scheduled.
Can you get an eyebrow tattoo while pregnant?
No, I don't perform cosmetic tattooing on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, this is standard practice across the industry for safety reasons. If this applies to you, let's have a chat about timing for once you're ready, I'm happy to plan ahead with you.
How do I remove an eyebrow tattoo?
Removing existing cosmetic tattoo pigment usually needs a specialised saline removal or laser treatment, which isn't something I offer directly. If you're dealing with old or unwanted brow work, it's worth coming in for a chat so I can have a look and talk you through what's realistic, including whether it can simply be worked with through a redesign.
Is eyebrow tattoo permanent?
Despite the name, it's semi-permanent rather than truly forever, it softens and fades gradually over time. That's exactly why I offer colour refresh options at six months and again between twelve months and two years, so your brows keep looking their best.
